Rare Color
希少色

気がつけばガラスを始めて四半世紀以上が経過、はじめたての頃は、色ガラスの素（ロッド）を見るとワクワクして、どれもこれも欲しくなったものです（今もそうですが）。ガラスをしながら他のバイトもし、なけなしのお金を少し貯めては購入した当時のロッドは、もう手に入らないものも多く、今も大事に使っています。ここではそんな「希少色」を使った作品をご紹介します。

Before I knew it, more than a quarter of a century has passed since I first started working with glass. In the early days, the sight of colored glass rods used to fill me with excitement, and I wanted them all (which is still true today). While working with glass, juggling other part-time jobs, I managed to save a little money to purchase rods at that time. Many of those rods are no longer available, and I still cherish and use them. Here, I would like to introduce artworks created using such "rare colors."
